Join us for the 42nd Chattanooga Waterfont Triathlon. This event begins on the Chattanooga Waterfront at Ross’ Landing. The course runs includes a swim in the Tennessee River, bike ride along Amnicola Highway, and run on the Tennessee Riverwalk. Auxiliary communications volunteers composed of Amateur Radio operators, GMRS radio licensees and others provide on course communications assistance to the event. Communications volunteers are provided with orientation to the event, any training necessary concerning event proceedures, and a specific assignment with written objectives. Individual assignments are usually 4 – 6 hours and start times stagger during the day.
