This event begins in Chattanooga and travels through the Sequatchie Valley, up Chattanooga Mountain west of Jasper Tennessee and returns to Chattanooga. Auxiliary communications volunteers composed of Amateur Radio operators, GMRS radio licensees and others provide on course communications assistance to the event. Communications volunteers are provided with orientation to the event, any training necessary concerning event proceedures, and a specific assignment with written objectives. This event is suitable for first time communicators.
