Send an Amateur Radio RADIOGRAM to your friends.
Local Amateur Radio operators participate in the National Traffic System sending messages across the United States and Canada. Learn more about the National Traffic System at the ARRL’s NTS Webpage and at NTS 2.0 website.
Messages handled via the National Traffic System can be everyday non-business messages of a personal nature, but should not be too personal or contain confidential information. Typical messages are sent to or from a disaster zone to help inform family and friends of a person’s status or location. These messages can also be send or received during normal times and are used for practice by the amateurs participating in the program.
Messages may be passed via multiple amateur operators, by voice, morse code, or digital radio to or from any US or Canadian location.
